Silicone are low VOC and non-flammable, enabling engineers to provide a less hazardous, environmentally friendly work environment.

    With 800-505, there’s no compromise on coverage. Due to its low viscosity, 800-505 is easily applied using standard PCB spray coating equipment. After the initial UV cure, the secondary, ambient cure ensures no unreacted coating remains in shadow areas. Broader viscosity ranges offer better coverage, even in small shadow areas – and the alkoxy cure means even components with deeper shadow areas can move on to the next step immediately.

    As with most silicones, 800-505 has excellent dielectric properties and offers better protection from corrosion and other harsh environmental elements than other coating technologies such as acrylics and urethanes. Our fast-acting cure minimizes potential damage of delicate components during the production process. 800-505’s secondary cure is an electronics-grade, alkoxy cure, with no unreacted coating remaining in shadow areas.
